Hormone Pellet Therapy has been around since the 1940s. Popular in Europe, it had recently gained attention with the US population as a mainstream treatment option for the treatment of Testosterone Deficiency or Menopause. After appropriate testing and pellet dose selection the hormone pellets are implanted in the subcutaneous fat layer in a simple 10 minute minor surgical procedure. Women typically receive hormone pellet implants every 4 months, while testosterone pellets are inserted in men every 6 months. A commercial grade pellet is available, but only in one size, 75mg. It needs to be inserted more frequently as it dissolves more rapidly. Spartan providers utilize testosterone pellets that are machine pressed and heat fused, enabling them to dissolve slower thus eliminating the more frequent surgical implant procedures.
